Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong technical background and the ability to translate complex customer requirements into practical technology solutions?

We're working with a leading technology services organisation looking to recruit a Senior Solutions Engineer to play a key role in its pre-sales and technical solutions team.

THE ROLE

You'll work closely with sales and business development teams, helping customers understand their technology requirements and developing solutions that deliver real business value.

Your responsibilities will include:

🔹 Conducting comprehensive IT audits and identifying opportunities for improvement.

🔹 Designing technical solutions and developing detailed project proposals.

🔹 Defining project scopes, deliverables, implementation plans and resource requirements.

🔹 Supporting customer meetings and providing technical expertise.

🔹 Producing technical proposals and professional services quotations.

🔹 Identifying opportunities to develop new services and enhance the existing solutions portfolio.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience in a customer-facing technical or solutions engineering role.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Azure and Microsoft 365.

Good understanding of networking technologies.

Experience with SAN/NAS storage and virtualisation technologies, including Hyper-V and VMware.

Experience planning and delivering IT migrations and infrastructure projects.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
